TEDWomen2017 was a live webcast from the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans and featured a women’s leadership luncheon (with tables of eight hosted by a local female community leader); a special announcement about TEDxGreensboro2018; and an opportunity to tour the Joint School and learn about the nanoscience and nanoengineering programs.

February 18, 2016: TEDxGreensboro livestreamed TED2016: Dream from Vancouver. Our event was held at the Global Center of Bennett College.

Webcast: South

TEDxGreensboro presents TEDGlobal2014, from Rio de Janeiro. This full day program was broadcast live via the internet to Auditorium IV at the Sheraton/Four Seasons Hotel.

TEDGlobal2014’s theme is “South” and celebrated innovation, dynamism and creativity taking place all over South America and the global South. Sponsors were WFDD 88.5, CFGG, Sheraton Greensboro and Stearns Financial Group.

TEDxGreensboro presented TEDWomen, from San Francisco Dec. 6, 2013. This program was presented via the internet at the Sheraton/Four Seasons Hotel.

TEDWomen celebrated invention in all its forms: solutions to poverty; approaches to peacemaking; expressions of art and our own lives. Sponsors included Greensboro Commission on Status of Women, League of Women Voters, Women to Women.
