Our signature program is a full day event that includes ten speakers, entertainment, and selected TED videos.
These programs have been sold out with about 300 participants. Additionally we webstream the program to Triad senior living centers, high schools, and colleges.
TEDxGreensboro will be April 4, 2019 at Triad Stage
We are able to bring national and global TED conferences to Greensboro through the web. Local participants have an opportunity to see TED speakers as they appear and these presentations later become the famous “TED Talks.”
TEDWomen – December 6, to be webcast from Palm Springs
TED2019 – Tentative April 19 from Vancouver
TEDxGreensboro Salons are smaller events that engage the audience in conversation around a TED Talk on a specific topic. The format includes viewing a provocative TED Talk followed by a facilitated discussion. Occasionally we will have a local speaker but the goal is for audience members to share their knowledge and opinions with one another.

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many talks are made available at TED.com.
