Fenster, MD, aka Chef Dr. Mike, is one of a handful of physicians worldwide to hold both culinary and medical degrees and is the only Interventional Cardiologist and Professional Chef to do so. He is the only cardiologist with joint academic appointments in both the Medical and Culinary Arts. He is also the only such person to teach Culinary Medicine at the collegiate level, offering a graduate course at The University of Montana. His teachings focus on positively re-examining our relationship with food and by extension our relationship with each other, society, and the planet.
