Graymatter
Graymatter plays acoustic music with big harmonies and a dash of rock and roll. Band members are Barry Gray (acoustic guitar), Brad Gray (acoustic & electric guitars), Dave Gude (acoustic guitar, banjo, harmonica, mandolin) and Bev Gray Gude (12-string & high-strung guitars, flute, tambourine and bodhran). The four singer-songwriters have a passion for re-imagining and re-creating the songs of the 60s, 70s and 80s, featuring 4 part harmonies delivered with the close-knit chemistry of family voices. The harmonies and unique arrangements of dynamic classics are fresh and engaging. Barry Gray is a recipient of the 2017 NC Arts Council’s Artist Fellowship in songwriting, enabling him to record his first album.
