Join our TEDxGreensboro Salon team for a new thought-provoking discussion. With the influx of misinformation, it’s becoming more difficult to determine factual information from opinions, biases, and ideologies masked as facts.
With the current landscape, Mastering Civility would be very impactful especially as many people are posting publicly about their unkind, politically and racially charged encounters. Various generations are very concerned about the discriminatory executive orders and the behavior it has caused by various individuals and groups in the American population. This is also relevant to Civility and Civil Rights.
This gives us an opportunity to have a catalytic conversation about how to treat each other regardless of the executive orders and who people voted for.
TEDxGreensboro Salon events are smaller events that keep a TEDx community engaged between regular TEDx events. It’s unique because you, the participants, are involved in the conversation. We will share TED Talks plus local speakers to build a dialogue with you – the audience.
There will be questions, thoughts and ideas and we will all wrestle with what it all means.
Registration is limited and required – come to mix and mingle with other TEDx’ers and to talk about ideas.
