April 16, 2013 Today in Greensboro citizens came together for the inaugural TEDxGreensboro, “Dreamsboro: Imagine. Design. Build.”, to spread ideas for changing our community, city and maybe the world.
In 1984, TED set out on a mission to spread ideas. Not just any ideas, but ideas that could change the world. Since then thousands of TED talks and hundreds of TEDx events have been held in pursuit of that original mission. Today in Greensboro citizens came together for the inaugural TEDxGreensboro, “Dreamsboro: Imagine. Design. Build.”, to spread ideas for changing our community, city and maybe the world.
Greensboro’s Historic Museum was the perfect backdrop for the event. Take a look at the moments, words and images from a remarkable day, as told in chronological order by the participants, via social media. In years to come, we will be able to look back at this event as a catalyst for Greensboro’s future.
